The Litvak Law Group was founded on the three pillars of integrity, excellence, and diligence by Uri Litvak, a seasoned attorney with 25 years of diverse legal and business experience.  Uri was formerly with the law firm of Skadden Arps in New York, which is consistently ranked as one of the top law firms in the United States.  He has also served as corporate counsel for both multi-billion dollar publicly traded companies, such as Cendant and AIG, as well as small entrepreneurial start ups.

Uri Litvak

Uri Litvak is an attorney and strategic advisor with 25 years of experience in the areas of M&A, corporate law, securities, corporate finance, and complex litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution.  He was formerly with the law firm of Skadden Arps in New York (www.Skadden.com), which is consistently ranked as one of the top law firms in the United States for M&A, Securities and Corporate Finance.  He has also served as corporate counsel for both multi-billion dollar publicly traded companies, such as Cendant and AIG, as well as small entrepreneurial start ups.  He is an honors graduate of U Miami and NYU.  Uri prides himself on providing big firm expertise at a cost that’s manageable for the firm’s clients.  He enjoys being an instrumental part of the strategic process while fiercely protecting his clients’ interests.

Tom N. Yacko

Tom has been practicing as a civil litigation attorney since 2016, developing expertise in the field of complex commercial and business litigation, while gaining experience in trials, depositions, and all forms of discovery and motion practice.

Tom earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on Marketing and Finance from the University of San Diego in 2008. Upon graduation, he served in the Peace Corps in Kazakhstan from 2009-2011, where he organized and provided training to hundreds of local English teachers on modern English teaching techniques, taught English to children ranging in age from 6 to 18, and planned and executed various community development projects. During his time in the Peace Corps, Mr. Yacko formed Kazakhstan’s first ever baseball league, became fluent in Russian and was recognized as an exemplary Peace Corps member. He then attended law school at Chapman University School of Law, clerking for a Federal Bankruptcy Judge, the Honorable Scott C. Clarkson, for two years. In 2015, he graduated near the top of his class and began working at a Civil Litigation firm based in Orange County, California.

He is currently a member of the State Bar of California, and is admitted to practice before all courts in the State of California.

When he is not working, Mr. Yacko enjoys playing golf, fishing, and generally anything outdoors, and spending quality time with his family and loved ones.

MARTIN KELETI

S. MARTIN KELETI

Mr. Keleti is a graduate of UC Hastings College of the Law. He has practiced civil litigation in state and federal courts at all levels. He has advised clients before suit and represented them before administrative agencies, in arbitrations and mediations, and in trial courts, intermediate appellate courts, and courts of last resort, including the United States Supreme Court. He has participated in several precedent-setting cases. He has also served as an expert witness and adjunct professor of law. His cases have included disputes involving such diverse fields as intellectual property, entertainment law, real estate, civil rights, probate, and personal injury, among others. He looks for practical and innovative solutions to meet clients’ needs.

Jerold Gorski

Mr. Gorski graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Law in 1994 where he practiced civil litigation and also taught Business and Contract Law at Rockford Business College for two years. He was admitted in California in 1998 and has practiced law in southern California since that time. Mr. Gorski has developed a great deal of expertise in business transactions, contract law, and a wide variety of complex civil matters working with several large firms including McDermott, Will & Emery, Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, and Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP. He has been involved in various high-profile and esoteric matters, including an appeal before the United States Supreme Court, the Hughes-Raytheon merger, and legal matters with international dimensions.

Joel Poremba Attorney

Joel Poremba

Joel Poremba is a seasoned business litigator with 22 years of experience. He has represented small and medium sized companies as well as global corporate entities including a global media company with assets over $1 billion. He was successful before the Ninth Circuit representing an NFL player in an ERISA matter disabled while playing on national television in a multi-million matter against the NFL. He subsequently prepared the client for a feature and interview on ESPN’s show “Outside the Lines” regarding the NFL’s handling of disabled players. Prior to that, he represented insureds for nearly ten years in insurance bad faith matters. Mr. Poremba is a graduate of the University of California, San Diego and Western State University, College of Law.

Walter Whitman Moore

Walter Whitman Moore, Of Counsel

Walter Whitman Moore is a trial lawyer who has successfully represented clients in state and federal courts and arbitration for over 25 years. Moore graduated with honors from Princeton University and Georgetown Law; was an Editor of The Georgetown Law Journal; and taught legal research and writing to first-year law students at Georgetown Law. Moore was formerly with the law firm of Skadden Arps in Los Angeles and San Francisco. Moore is licensed in California and Texas, and handles all phases of litigation for clients, including pre-trial discovery and motions, bench and jury trials, and appeals. Moore focuses on business and real estate disputes, and his goal in each case is to litigate as strategically and efficiently as possible, based on his client’s objectives.
